Trafton Home Team respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect on traftonhometeam.com and in our business tools, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

  • Information you give us: name, email address, phone number, mailing or property address, and details about the home you want to buy or sell, when you contact us, fill out a form, book an appointment (for example through Calendly), or work with us on a transaction.
  • Transaction information: if you become a client, documents and details needed to complete your purchase or sale (for example contracts, disclosures, and communications with lenders, title, and escrow).
  • Website usage information: pages visited, device and browser type, and general location, collected automatically through cookies and tools such as Google Analytics / Google Site Kit. These third parties may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites.

3. How We Use It

  • To respond to your questions, schedule showings and appointments, and provide real estate services.
  • To prepare, manage, and close transactions you are part of.
  • To send you information you asked for, such as listings or market updates. You can opt out at any time.
  • To improve our website and comply with legal and licensing requirements.

4. How We Share It

  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
  • We share information only as needed to serve you: with our brokerage (Real), lenders, title and escrow companies, inspectors, appraisers, transaction coordinators, and the other party’s agent in your transaction; with service providers that help us run our business (such as email, scheduling, and website hosting); or when required by law.

5. Text Messages and Phone Calls

  • If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry or transaction. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time.
  • We do not sell or share your phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.

6. Email Agent (Internal Tool)

  • Our internal “Email Agent” app is used only by Baylen Trafton to organize his own email accounts.
  • With his permission, it reads his Gmail messages to sort and summarize them, and it creates draft replies, filters, and moves junk mail to Trash only when he approves.
  • This data is processed by Google and by Anthropic (Claude) to create summaries, and is delivered to Baylen through Telegram. It is not shared with anyone else, not sold, and not used for advertising.
  • The app’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Your California Privacy Rights

  • Review, correct, or delete: you can ask to see, update, or delete the personal information we have about you by emailing baylen@traftonhometeam.com. Some records must be kept to meet California real estate recordkeeping laws.
  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA): to the extent it applies to us, California residents may request to know, correct, or delete their personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
  • “Shine the Light” (Cal. Civ. Code 1798.83): we do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
  • Do Not Track: our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

8. Security and Retention

  • We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
  • We keep information as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, licensing, and brokerage recordkeeping requirements.

9. Wire Fraud Warning

  • We will never email you wiring instructions or ask you to change where you send money. Before wiring any funds, call your escrow or title company at a phone number you have verified independently. Never rely on contact information in an email.

10. Children’s Privacy

  • Our website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

11. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
